Joel Jorgenson, CEO of Packet Digital and former NDSU faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering, was the featured speaker at the 5:01 Entrepreneur Society meeting held Feb. 20, at the NDSU Research and Technology Park. Jorgenson discussed "The Adventures of an IP-Centric Startup in the Research Corridor."
While at NDSU, Jorgenson created and led a team in advanced sensor development for a number of applications for the U.S. Department of Defense. Jorgenson has served on several review panels for the National Science Foundation Small Business Initiative Research proposals and contributes to the national Examination Board of Professional Engineers.
